Chris Kibler, Cross Country

Fitchburg State senior Chris Kibler (Bath, Maine/Morse) collects his first Soaring Falcon honor of the season after being named the MASCAC's Cross Country Runner of the Week.

On the course, Kibler collected his first MASCAC honor of the year after leading the Fitchburg State men’s cross country team to a first place finish and perfect 15 point score at the Jim Sheehan Memorial. Kibler captured top honors for Falcons over the 4.75 mile layout, totaling a time of 26:00, while adding a 16:10 effort at the Keene State Alumni Meet in the first week of the season.

The Fitchburg State men’s and women’s cross country teams travel to UMass Dartmouth on Saturday at 11 a.m.
