Information for Prospective Student-Athletes
High School Students
If you are interested in participating in intercollegiate athletics, the NCAA publishes a fantastic resource called the "Guide for the College Bound Student-Athlete". Whether you are interested in competing at the Division I, II, or III level, this is a great resource to let you know what to do to ensure your eligibility for participation in collegiate athletics.
Another good source of information may also be found at the NCAA website here:

Transfer Students
Thinking about transferring to Fitchburg State? If you are currently participating or have already participated in a sport at another four year institution, you may need to fill out a release form before you can speak with one of our coaches. You can find the self-release form here.
Student-athletes at two year institutions do not need permission to contact our coaches and may do so at any time.
For more details transferring schools and how it affects your athletic eligibility, check out this guide from the NCAA.
