Chris Grautski is in his second season as assistant coach of the Fitchburg State football team. He will serve as the team's strength and conditioning coach while working with the defensive line.
Grautski comes to Fitchburg State after a successful playing career with the Worcester State Laners of the New England Football Conference. Grautski was a four-year starter for the Lancers defensive line and two-year captain. In a solid senior season, Grautski totaled 28 tackles (18 solo, 13 assists) and ranked second on the team with 4.5 sacks. For his efforts, he was named to the 2008 All-Worcester Area team.
Grautski graduated Worcester State College in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health. He is currently working towards his Master's Degree in Educational Administration at Fitchburg State.
