Erin McGaffigan is in her second season as an assistant coach of the Fitchburg State women's lacrosse team. She will work primarily with the goaltenders.

A 2011 graduate of The Military College of Vermont in 2011, McGaffigan comes to Fitchburg State after completing a four-year career with the Norwich University women's lacrosse team. McGaffigan led the Cadets to a pair of GNAC Championships in 2008 and 2010, while also leading Norwich to the NCAA playoffs during the 2010 season.

In addition to her lacrosse accolades, McGaffigan also served three years with the Navy ROTC and four years in the Corps of Cadets, graduating with the rank of Cadet Major. She graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, while also serving as the Goalie Coach for the Bay State Games' Central Women's Lacrosse Team from 2007-2010.
